Orders placed before 4pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched next day. Orders placed after 4pm Friday will be dispatched on Monday. In the case of Bank Holidays, orders will be dispatched on the next available working day.
We dispatch all our boxes via Royal Mail Tracked24 delivery. With this method of delivery, delivery aims to be made within 1-2days of dispatch. We can provide you with a tracking number so that you can track the parcel status. You will also receive a notification via email or text when the parcel has been successfully delivered.
In the unlikely event that your order gets lost and does not arrive, if the tracking information reflects this we will send a replacement box or issue a refund immediately. If the tracking information shows that it was delivered but you report it has not been, we can dispatch a replacement box within 1 working day, however if you would like a refund this may take up to 30 days to be issued as we will need to reclaim the order value in compensation from Royal Mail.
Please be aware - if you leave instructions to leave your parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place, and you then report the item was not delivered, neither we nor Royal Mail can be held liable and you are not entitled to a replacement or refund.
Most of our boxes will fit through the average sized letterbox easily. Any larger items may be too deep to fit through smaller letterboxes, so may require someone in to receive the box - any such large items will be described on the product page.
As our brownies fall under the categories of perishable goods and personalised (gift messages) we cannot offer a refund simply for a change of mind.
In the unlikely event that your order arrives faulty or damaged please send us a photo of the item how it arrived and we will send you a replacement box or issue a refund.
CANCELLATION / RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY
Orders placed before 4pm Monday to Friday are dispatched on the next working day. If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 8 hours of placing your order, to ensure the order is not dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled.

As our brownies are perishable goods and sometimes personalised we cannot accept returns or exchanges.

Welcome to www.letterboxbrownies.com (the ‘site’ or ‘website’), home of ‘Letterbox Brownies’, a special part of ‘faleycakes’.
1. Prices & Description of Goods
All prices are correct as stated on the website, however we reserve the right to revise the price of goods at any time, without notice. The content of this website has been carefully prepared to ensure all goods have been described properly. However, goods may differ slightly to those described, i.e - weights, sizes and dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly.
2. Minimum and Maximum orders
Our minimum order is one box of brownies. There is no maximum order amount, however if you are interested in buying more than 5 boxes, we suggest contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a multi-buy enquiry.
3. Availability of Goods
Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If for any reason the Goods you have ordered are not available on that day, we reserve the right to substitute a different item of the same or higher value. We will contact you by e-mail or phone (provided you have supplied your contact details) to make you aware of any substitutions.
We accept payment by credit or debit card on-line only. We use a trusted and secure payment gateway (provided by Stripe).
5. Delivery charges and service
The delivery charge is included within the price of Goods displayed. We send all brownie boxes via Tracked24 Delivery. We do not offer a ‘signed for’ option, as the beauty of Letterbox brownies is that they can be delivered through the letterbox – meaning no one needs to be home to receive them.
6. Dispatch & Delivery
Letterbox Brownies can only deliver to addresses within the UK.
Orders placed before 4pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched the next working day. If dispatch is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the dispatch date will be extended by a reasonable period and we will contact you to notify you of the delay.
We will send the goods to the address specified for delivery in your order. It is very important that this address is accurate. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions.
Delivery times for Tracked24 delivery is usually 1-2 working days after dispatch. We cannot guarantee delivery dates as they are subject to Royal Mail delays. Orders at peak periods for postage (e.g. Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day etc. ) may carry a greater risk of delay therefore we would advise that you allow more time for your delivery during these periods.
You will become the owner of the goods once you have placed the order, payment has cleared and the goods have been delivered to you or your chosen recipient. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or damage. Suggested storage instructions are included for your benefit, and can also be found in our FAQ section.
Full payment is required when you order. By paying for the goods, you are committing to a purchase. Our acceptance of your order completes the contract between us.
8. Risk and ownership
Risk of damage to or loss of the goods is passed to you upon your receipt of the goods. You will only own the goods once they have been successfully delivered and when we have received cleared payment in full. Goods supplied are not for resale.
9. Cancellation rights
The Distance Selling Regulations state that consumers do not have the legal right to cancel orders of made-to-order items – this includes all of our brownies. However, Letterbox Brownies will accept cancellations only if the cancellation is requested in writing within 8 hours of placing the order. Cancellation in writing will need to be sent to our email address email@example.com
10. Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between you and us if:
We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
We do not deliver to your area (delivery is within the UK only)
One or more of the goods you ordered was incorrectly listed due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will refund any payment you have made to us within 30 days of your order.
11.1 If you or the intended recipient do not receive goods ordered by you within 7 days of the date for which you ordered them, we will have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact email address of the problem within 30 days of the date on which you ordered the goods.
If you notify a problem to us under this condition, our only obligation will be, at your option:
To send a new box at our earliest convenience;
To refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.
Both parties shall only be liable under this contract for losses, which are a reasonably foreseeable consequence of the relevant breach of contract.
11.2 As our brownies fit through a letterbox, it is possible for the box to be chewed by dogs/cats/other pets. Chocolate is very harmful to pets if ingested. We have clearly stated this information on all items on our website and ask customers to consider this information before sending a box to a household with pets. Letterbox Brownies will not be liable for any harm caused to pets through ingestion of brownies.
You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
Unless otherwise expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all notices from you to us must be in writing and sent to us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org .
All notices from us to you will be displayed on our website from time to time.
13. Changes to legal notices
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.
If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
16. Third party rights
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to, nor shall it confer any rights on a third party.
These terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and by using this website you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
18. Intellectual property
All of the content on the site, including text and pictures, are subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights held by ‘Letterbox Brownies’. The entire content of the site is copyrighted under applicable copyright laws.
The use of our site and it’s content is intended for the personal and non- commercial use by the users of our site.
19. Use of the site
You may not otherwise use, download, upload, copy, print, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, post, transmit or distribute any information from this website in whole or in part without the express authorisation of ‘Letterbox Brownies’. All images on the website are the property of ‘Letterbox Brownies’ and may not be used for commercial purposes without explicit written permission from ‘Letterbox Brownies’. ‘Letterbox Brownies’ reserves complete and full intellectual property rights in any content you download, print, reproduce, distribute or store from this website.
20. Cyber Security
We always try to ensure that our website is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or any websites accessible through it will not cause damage to your computer. It is the responsibility of the consumer to ensure they have the right equipment/software to use the website. We will not be liable for any loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website, unless as a result of our negligence.
Your information will be used by us for the complete processing of your order. This includes using your contact information to inform you of order updates. The shipping information provided will be shared with Royal Mail in order to generate a shipping label. We will also share your email address with Royal Mail in order for you to receive tracking updates on your parcel. Your payment information will be processed through our secure payments partner - Stripe.
Neither we, no any third parties, will use your information for anything other than the processing of your order. You will not be added to a mailing list unless you choose to sign up to one. Once your order is complete, you may request for us to delete your details at any time- to request this please email us email@example.com.
